GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The RTL8208D is a single-chip highly integrated 8-port, 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet transceiver. Flexible hardware settings are provided to configure the

various operating modes of the chip. The RTL8208D provides an RS8MII interface-to-MAC controller for octal-PHY, allowing reduced IC pin count and PCB complexity.
